Orchidland is not a gated or closed community. Many people use the roads you pay to maintain and the various vacant properties to deposit their trash. This is in spite of TWO recycle and waste dumps within a few miles. We wish it were not residents…but as often as not our residents join others in illegal dumping of trash, tires, appliances, and construction debris. Posted warning signs have not stopped this safety issue from expanding. The situation is getting worse. Hence, we are asking residents to be especially vigilant in reporting violators to the police.
